This year, I will have the role as Chief Engineer Hull and Body. My responsibility will be everything that has to deal with the boat as a whole. From hull design to modularity and Internal Architecture, one of the big tasks I will be doing in my department this year. How can I arrange the boat as efficiently as possible while still take into account all the applicable demands . I have completed my Bachelor Mechanical Engineering in the past 3 years, there I learned a lot of theory that I can now apply to an amazing project! Something that is really applicable to the boat’s internal architecture is the systematic thinking, working towards the solution in little steps.

One of the reasons that I chose for the Solar Boat Team is the enormous community around it. Thanks to the amount of active alumni, you don’t have to solve a problem completely on your own. They are always very eager to help you out and come with new innovative solutions together! Another reason is the professionality of the team, they have even won awards on this aspect. It is just like a kind of startup!
