Team Manager

The nice thing about working with 26 incredibly motivated and talented students is that you can make the impossible possible. This year we want to put smart innovations into practice while working towards a super ambitious goal: becoming world champions in the offshore class of the Monaco Solar & Energy Boat Challenge. I would like to encourage the world to make the next step towards a more sustainable society, in which the more sustainable solution is actually the better option.

One of the reasons why I joined the TU Delft Solar Boat Team is because in my future career, I would really like to combine the worlds of management and technology. In my opinion, both worlds are incredibly fascinating. I see it as a challenge for myself to be a good manager while being well informed. For me that means to make sure you know what you're talking about when you have to make an important decision.

During this year I hope to learn more about how this goes into practice. I try to make the most out of myself, as well of the rest of the team. My year is successful when everyone can look back proudly on the past year, has achieved his personal goals and has been able to lift his people skills to a higher level.
