Since I came into contact with the TU Delft Hydro Motion Team in 2018 via friends, it has always been in the back of my mind. After completing my bachelor's degree in Aerospace in three years, I started looking at what I could do to apply this knowledge in practice. That's how I ended up with the TU Delft Hydro Motion Team, following the interest I had generated earlier.

This year we are all going to work as hard as possible to develop and build a boat worthy of the world championship in Monaco. With this challenge, we want to inspire the maritime industry to switch more quickly to sustainable energy sources.

From my aerospace studies, I learned a lot about the structural side of vehicles and this is also what I will focus on this year. As Chief Hull&Body, I am responsible for the hull design, structural design and internal design of the boat. This year I want to develop both organizationally and technically to work with the whole team to make the best boat possible. All in all, it will be an unforgettable year!
