I first heard of Dream Teams when I was in high school when the Nuon Solar Team won the SASOL Solar Challenge in South-Africa. I wanted to join a Dream Team ever since I saw what these students did. Ever since then I wanted to make something with the knowledge I have gathered during my bachelor.
I’m currently in my third year of the bachelor Aerospace Engineering. The scope of this study is pretty niche but ties in well with building a boat because we also focus on aero and fluid dynamics, and structural design. I love the material that I learn during my study, but I found that it focused to much on the theoretical side of engineering and to little on the practical side of it all, I personally chose this program to learn about both. This plus my enthusiasm for joining a Dream Team is the reason that I joined the TU Delft Solar Boat Team.
