The concept of the TU Delft Solar Boat Team always fascinated me. I am convinced that a transition to sustainable transport is necessary to fight climate change and I believe that the TU Delft Solar Boat Team has the potential to inspire the maritime industry and accelerate the transition to a sustainable future. It is such an unique chance and a great experience to work in an ambitious team that is determined to push boundaries,  solve new problems and think creatively to achieve the best results.

This year, I am the team manager of the TU Delft Solar Boat Team. The TU Delft Solar Boat Team gives me the opportunity to contribute to a better and sustainable future. As team manager, I would like to be a balancing factor within the team and to take a leading role in creating a strong team spirit and good collaboration between team members. In addition, I would like to create an open team atmosphere such that everyone can be themselves, live up to their full potential and achieve personal development during the year.

I am extremely proud to be the team manager of the TU Delft Solar Boat Team this year. The drive, passion and motivation of every team member, but also the fact that everyone is always there to help each other, makes it possible to take up this new challenge together.
