Today our solar boat touched water for the first time! A huge milestone for the team, especially after these weeks in quarantine! At 1,5 meter distance, the team was cheering on the shores and proudly watching the boat going into the water and making her first miles.

Of course, you also discover new challenges during the first-time sailing. We experienced problems with the data acquisition and the motor turned off a couple of times. Fortunately, we fixed these problems, so we can go sailing again soon.

The coming weeks we will continue sailing on the hull. Afterwards, we will start with the first flying tests, and then finally also the solar panels will be added and tested.
