My name is Maartje Veraart and last year I finished the bachelor technology, policy and management. During the bachelor I got more and more interested in engineering software. That is why I took a bridging programme to Computer Science. I followed courses of the bachelor Computer Science to get accepted to do the Master Data Science & Technology.

I joined the team because I wanted to get more skilled in engineering software and hardware. I also want to broaden my knowledge of engineering overall and to experience how it is to build a boat in one year with a group of enthusiastic students.

My task within the team is to set up a telemetry system that can send all data from the boat to a computer on the shore. I am also responsible for designing interfaces that the passengers will use while sailing.
